We are looking for a seasoned developer with consulting skills to become a permanent long-term member of our consulting team.

The bulk of our engagements are organized around fairly small development teams. As such, your role on a project team is essential. You will be involved end-to-end, focusing on design, development and deployments. Our processes are agile and really focused on creating the intended result for our clients.
The majority of our work is custom business apps that almost always involve database technology. Frontend development may be Windows 8, web, desktop or mobile. Your specialization may be more server-side oriented, or perhaps front-end or middle tier. All of these skills are important, and regardless of your specialization preferences, you will need to be comfortable with contributing to all aspects of solution development.
• Journeyman-level .NET/SQL Server Development
• Troubleshoot business application issues, determining root cause(s) and assessing solution alternatives
• Consider the technical options available for meeting client needs and provide informed recommendations
• Assist client business and IT team members in understanding the technology and design issues
• Create suitable documentation for solutions, designs and technical implementations
• Develop testing and deployment plans for technical changes, and lead business and IT resources through completion of both
• Work directly with application owners / managers to assess and prioritize application change / fix requests
• Coordinate the development, testing and deployment activities for app changes
Experience and Qualifications:
• Application design and programming experience using systems C#, .NET framework
• Experience developing with SQL Server database backend
• Experience developing business apps for web, desktop and mobile
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing custom apps in a complex heterogeneous technology environment
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing business processes and systems
• Ability to work independently, and with teams of people w/ varying backgrounds
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong SQL scripting skills
• Professional consulting experience and proficiency in managing workload under tight timelines with minimal supervision
