Management

Meet Our Team of Decision Makers.

Everyone at CSG is important, but these are the folks who run the ship. They’re doing a pretty good job, if we do say so. Learn a little about the members of our management by reading their bios below. Then you can always learn more by meeting them in person.

Kevin McVicker, President

Kevin joined CSG in February 2010, with a keen focus on driving growth while enhancing CSG's already strong reputation and consulting capabilities. In January of 2012, Kevin was named President of CSG and is guiding CSG to the next level of leadership in our market, using his many years of experience in information technology and company leadership.

Prior to joining CSG Pro, Kevin was the founder and President of Centerlogic, an IT services company in the application development and infrastructure business. After 10 years, Centerlogic merged with Ascentium where Kevin served as the Managing Director of Portland. Outside of work Kevin’s enjoys running and camping, but his first priority is being a better husband to his wife, a better father to his four daughters, and a better friend to an incredible God.

Ron Ellis Gaut, Director of Consulting

As a founding member of the CSG team, Ron has had the unique opportunity to contribute to growth and success of the company since the beginning. With over 30 years of experience of working in IT, Ron brings a broad base of experience to his role as Director of Consulting.

Before he joined CSG, Ron worked as a software developer and IT professional for Sequent Computer Systems, Mentor Graphics and Concept Technologies. When not engaged with the clients and staff of CSG, look for Ron chasing steelhead on a wild Oregon river or playing guitar in the local Portland music scene.

James Churchill, Practice Manager: Application Development

James manages the development of custom applications for CSG clients. He has worked extensively with Microsoft technologies such as “classic” ASP, ASP.NET, SQL Server and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). As a web developer, James has also worked extensively with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, and even occasionally PHP and MySQL.

James began his career working as a pharmacy technician while attending the music program at Mt. Hood Community College. After an unsuccessful attempt at becoming a rock star drummer, he found himself designing and developing web sites, interactive CD-ROMs, and DVDs during the internet explosion of the late 1990s. When he’s not working, he can be found skiing, working on the house, playing video games, walking the dog, playing music, or hanging out in the yard with his chickens.

Diane Carpenter, Practice manager: Business Intelligence and Portals & collaboration

Diane manages our practice for Business Intelligence and Portals & Collaboration. Her team provides leadership to drive consistency and industry standards that achieve successful project outcomes for our customers. Diane has been leading and participating in business and technology solution projects for more than 15 years. She brings a broad range of management and operational skills to the team.

Prior to joining CSG, Diane was a Senior Project Manager at Holiday Retirement, an industry leader in Retirement Living, directing multiple large-scale enterprise application implementations, CRM, website redesign, accounting and IT projects. The previous 10 years were spent as a Senior Consultant with Ascentium, Centerlogic and CTR consulting companies. When not engaged with the clients, you will most likely find Diane tasting wine in the Willamette Valley or camping in central Oregon.
